At GeneraBridge, we believe connection has no age limit.
We are a nonprofit, led and operated by students, that brings together high school students and elderly nursing home residents through conversations on Zoom. Our mission is to bridge the gap between generations so prevalent in today’s modern world, and create spaces where youth and seniors can share experiences, learn from one another, and find friendship.
Our Story
We began with a simple realization: a meaningful connection can bridge any distance. We saw an opportunity to extend connection beyond family — to nursing home residents who so often feel isolated and to students looking to give back in a meaningful way.
What started as a few virtual conversations between the founders soon evolved into an organized program partnering with hundreds of nursing homes across the country. Today, GeneraBridge connects hundreds of students and seniors.
